Led Zeppelin tribute band at The Signal
One toured with Heart and REO Speedwagon, another with the U.S. Army Band. A third has produced some of Nashville’s top artists. The fourth’s name is found on videogame credits while a fifth’s credentials are from Juilliard.
Together, they form Stairway to Zeppelin, five outstanding musicians who grew up on the iconic music of Led Zeppelin and perform it as if a reincarnation of the original recordings.
The quintet was founded by Paul O’Connor, lead guitar, vocals. He toured with Heart, REO Speedwagon and Richard Marx, among others. He has produced sessions with members of Autograph, Gary LeVox of Rascal Flatts, Carolyn Dawn Johnson and Natalie Hemby.
Lead vocalist Jonathan Johnson is the former U.S. Army bandsman, who has performed all over the world as singer, guitarist and trumpet player for audiences, festivals and dignitaries.
Drummer Jeff Seitz is the Juilliard School of Music alum. He has performed with The Green- wich Philharmonic and New Jersey Symphony. He was drum tech for Police drummer Stewart Copeland and sub-drummer for The Police, performed in rock band Godspeed, and played with legendary bluesman Long John Baldry. Additional collaborations include producing and performing in studio with Sting, Animal Logic and Law of Cycles.
Eric Swanson, bass/ vocals, is an award-winning film composer, conductor and graduate of the Berklee School of Music. His music has been heard on Netflix, A&E, MTV and Discovery channels and his videogame credits include Metal Warriors and Skeleton Warriors.
Jim Frazier, keys, guitar, mandolin and vocals, is a Nashville producer of artists and projects for labels such as Curb, Word Entertainment and Sony. Credits include Brad Paisley, SheDaisy, Jim Brickman, Joy Williams of the Civil Wars, 4 Him and Jennifer Paige.
Although only together four years, Stairway To Zeppelin salutes Led Zeppelin by skillfully covering some of the greatest rock music of all time.
