Dogma Dance Off: Music with a mission

Get ready for a music festival with two stages of entertainm­ent featuring 18 of the area’s brightest and newest pop, rock and hiphop sounds from emerging artists at Dogma Dance Off on Sunday, June 2.

Plus, there will be drone yoga, food trucks and a showcase of art for sale at this arts fundraiser.

The music starts at 3 p.m. Sunday at Barking Legs Theater, 1307 Dodds Ave.

All proceeds from the festival will go to two organizati­ons: Mark Making in Sammy David Moon Hollow Slum

The Floor Is Yours Lul Lion Hip-Hop Lounge Live Moodi

Dare Chattanoog­a, whose mission is to transform communitie­s through the arts; and Jessi Zazu Inc. in Nashville. That organizati­on’s mission has been to continue Zazu’s work in the arts and humanities, social justice and women’s health after she succumbed to cancer in 2017.

A minimum donation of $10 is requested at the door.
