The plan as of press time

— and Alfano emphasizes that it is a fluid one — is to have one show Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights with limited seating and plenty of space between patrons.

“And we will be doing all of the things the CDC is recommending as far as sterilization. I’m even thinking of dropping the use of cash and only use credit cards.”

Alfano said the decision to remain open is based on his desire to provide an income for his employees.

“It’s the fine line of keeping employees employed and making some money, though obviously reduced, and not wanting to ostracize the community.

“I’m watching this thing by the minute, and we will use an abundance of caution, and yet we are trying to keep people’s livelihoods intact.”

Before becoming a fulltime comedian, Seward was in the military. His shows are a mix of fast-paced jokes and high-energy stories about life in general.
