Eunice L. Payne

Eunice L. Payne, 84, of Hixson, passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2016. Eunice was born in Birchwood, Tenn., and was a longtime resident of the Chattanooga area.

She was a member of New Salem Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence “Bud” Payne; son, Michael Payne; and a grandson, Jeremiah Jones.

Eunice is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Janet and James Jones; four grandchildren, Katrina, Michelle, Wally and Joanna; several great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from noon to 2 p.m. on Friday, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Eunice will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, at the North Chapel. Burial will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
