Thurman’s top concern is students

A person stated Patti [Skates] is the perfect role model for our students in District 1. We need a professional who has the backs of our children and the trust of our parents.

My question is, did Patti have the backs of our children when the HCDE was withholding report cards due to nonpayment of school fees? This was totally against the kids’ rights. Did she speak up? No. It took Rhonda Thurman to bring this practice to light and stop it from happening.

Rhonda then ran for the school board and won and has been speaking out for the kids ever since.

Rhonda does not go along to get along. Kids’ best interest are her No. 1 concern. Vote for the kids and parents. Vote Rhonda Thurman. Beverly Bowman Hixson
