Georgia also has a sales tax holiday on energy-efficient and water-efficient products Sept. 30-Oct. 2. These products, bearing Energy Star and WaterSense labels, include air conditioners, ceiling fans, clothes washers, dishwashers, refrigerators, dehumidifiers, doors, windows, fluorescent light bulbs, bathroom faucets, high-efficiency toilets and urinals, showerheads and irrigation controllers. The exemption applies only to items purchased for noncommercial home or personal use.
