Proposed increase?
Randall Peters, a JDA board member, said the board voted earlier this year to ask the commissioner to approve a rate increase. Right now, the counties pay $1.50 per resident in their jurisdiction to the JDA. The proposed hike is an extra 25 cents per resident.
