City needs some spiffing up to shine

-

I’ve made several visits to Chattanooga over the past year. I knew this was the place I wanted to live. The culture, the food, the outdoor activities were unlike any place I’d ever visited.

I found a job and relocated here three weeks ago. I’m starting to settle in, and I’ve noticed a few things I didn’t notice before about downtown Chattanooga. Most parking garages, if not all of them, need to be repainted. Trees that line Chestnut Street desperately need to be trimmed. Buildings need to be pressure washed. Trash in the streets needs to be picked up.

Chattanooga is beautiful and has been voted “Best City” … twice. Let’s keep it looking beautiful. Shane Mathis
