Body found on logging road

A Cumberland County woman’s death has been deemed an apparent homicide after her body was discovered along a rural logging road, authorities said.

The body of the victim, identified as Donna Roam, 41, of Cumberland County, was found by a passerby at about 10:45 p.m. Sunday off Deck Road, west of Crossville, according to a Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office news release.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is leading the investigation.
