Trash, junk cars are too plentiful in Rhea

-

We wonder why Rhea County always has to look like a Third World country. Just look around as you drive. Trash all over, tacky signs stuck on many posts and trees, junk cars in driveways, etc.

It’s pretty clear that Rhea County has no planning and zoning board. If it does, it sure doesn’t work. It’s well past time to have one and then pass laws with some teeth. Then enforce them. Of course, if they are enforced like the speed limits are, it will be a real joke.

At what point does someone start to care? What kind of message are you sending? Let’s clean up Rhea County so possibly more employers will want to come here. It’s not all that hard to do.
