Drugs, guns found
The Lookout Mountain Judicial Circuit Drug Task Force arrested a Flintstone, Ga., man for possession of cocaine, ecstasy, marijuana and oxycodone last week.
According to an incident report by DTF Commander Pat Doyle, agents served a search warrant on a house in the 300 block of Burnt Mill Lane around 11:30 a.m. Thursday. Inside, they found 28-year-old Joshua Philmore Jordan — and allegedly a slew of drugs.
Agents found a Mason jar in the insulation of the floor with about 1 ounce of cocaine inside, according to the report. They also found two semi-automatic handguns.
In addition, according to the report, they found two “cookies” of crack cocaine, 18 oxycodone pills, 30 tablets of ecstasy, an unidentified amount of marijuana and “a large sum of cash.”
On top of four charges of possession of drugs with intent to distribute and one charge of trafficking cocaine, the DTF also charged Jordan with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
