Maragnano named Hatcher Foundation resource coordinator
The Austin Hatcher Foundation for Pediatric Cancer has named Samantha Maragnano, a University of Tennessee at Chattanooga graduate, to the new position of regional resource development coordinator.
Maragnano, a native of Plympton, Mass., previously studied at Franklin Pierce University in Rindge, N.H., and at University of Tennessee in Knoxville.
Maragnano has extensive experience doing volunteer work in the Chattanooga area for the Austin Hatcher Foundation, the Youth Cancer Awareness Program and Big Brothers, Big Sisters. Prior to joining the foundation, she worked for Partnership for Families, Children and Adults in Chattanooga as an intern.
“I’d never seen an organization like this that does so much in so many ways for people,” Maragnano said. “They are such good people. I can’t wait to work with them in a more involved way.”
