Beware of church, the secular one
“Beware of the church” (Times, May 21) of liberalism and secularism. Their heroes stayed dead, but Jesus Christ rose up. Jesus died for the sins of his people, showing God’s love.
Christianity is indeed the only true faith and Jehovah the only real God. Even if said with “false pride” (Times), it’s true. Secularists show “false pride” trying to name him a liar. Can liberals get to the Father without the Son? Come follow Him.
License tags? Let drivers name their god, including “no god,” and pay a fee. Separation of church and state here largely means separation of Christians from our tax dollars and telling us to “shut up.”
I daresay 99 percent of secularists would rather be ruled by Christian Gary North (author of “Unconditional Surrender”) than by secularist Kim Jong-un. Andrew Lohr
