Hamm plays Cleveland coffeehouse Saturday
Songwriter Regie Hamm will perform at Inman Street Coffeehouse, 437 Inman St., in Cleveland, Tenn., on Saturday, July 15, as part of his Pass the Hat tour. The free show starts at 8 p.m.
A songwriter, artist and producer, Hamm has penned more than 20 No. 1 hits, many of them in Christian music. His song “Time Of My Life,” sung by 2008 “American Idol” winner David Cook, stayed at No. 1 on the pop charts for four months. It became the longest-running No. 1 pop song by a Nashville-based songwriter in history — even topping Dolly Parton’s “I Will Always Love You” by one week.
