Worker killed in fall

Police say a construction worker fell to his death while working on an apartment building Saturday.

In a news release, Metro Nashville Police said Fausto Flores, 42, lost his balance while cutting a wooden rail on the fourth floor of the building in the Gulch neighborhood.

Police say Flores died at the scene.
