Buy a Blizzard today, help a sick child
Five area Dairy Queen and DQ Grill & Chill restaurants are celebrating DQ Miracle Treat Day.
One dollar from every Blizzard Treat sold today, July 27, at participating restaurants in Chattanooga, Cleveland and Jasper, Tenn., and Blue Ridge, Ga., will be donated to Children’s Hospital at Erlanger, one of the 170 hospitals supported by Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
“Last year, our Dairy Queen partners raised more than $8,000 through the Miracle Treat Day event,” says Rebecca Brinkley, CMN Hospitals director for Children’s Hospital.
“All funds raised by participating regional locations will benefit the Chattanooga community by funding the Believe Campaign supporting the new Children’s Hospital at Erlanger,” she says.
Every minute, 62 children enter a Children’s Miracle Network Hospital for treatment, and one in 10 children in North America is treated at CMN Hospitals each year.
Since 1984, the Dairy Queen system has raised more than $125 million for CMN hospitals through fundraising efforts including Miracle Treat Day, the Miracle Balloon campaign and other local initiatives.
