Charles Price
Charles Alvin Price, 78, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2017, from complications related to Vascular Dementia (a form of Alzheimer’s).
He was born and raised in Bakewell, Tenn. He was a true pillar of the community his entire life. Charles was a lifelong member of Bakewell Bible Church. Retired from Local 43 Plumbers and Steamfitters where he was fondly known as “Oney”. He was well loved by family and friends and will be missed.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Willie Bell (Varner) Price and father, Raymond G. Price and nephew, Mitchell Green.
He is survived by his loving partner and companion, Ann (Welch) James; ex-wife and mother of his children, Shirley (Touchton) Price; his six children, Vivian Price (James Dotson), Donna Price, Tina Price (Jami Lowery), Kelly Price, Charles JR (Leasha Price), and Scott Price; five grandchildren, Chastity Danielle Dotson (James Mears), Krystle Dotson (Chad Steele), Jeremy (Lynn Dotson), Jason (Fallon Price), Charles Logan Price; seven great-grandchildren, Landon Tyler, Kobe Steele, Braylan Tyler, Trenton Dotson, Lacon Steele, Aaron Dotson, Elliana Price and five stepgreat-grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Randale (Kate Price), Mary Price (Leroy Green), Carol Price (Ernie Ricketts), and Dale (Barbara Price); along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services will be 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 1, 2017, at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home with Pastor Joe Runyon and Dr. Ernie Ricketts Jr. officiat-
ing. Burial will follow in Varner Cemetery.
Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
