SOUTH PITTSBURG — Windi L. Johnson-Hale, 57, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 27, 2017, at her home.

She was a church member at The Bethlehem Baptist Church in South Pittsburg and worked 27 years for Mohawk Industries. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur (June Bug) Hale; her father, Leroy Johnson; grandmothe­r, Edna Mauberry; sister, Ella “Tiny” Shedd Vance; aunt, Dianne Garsett; uncle, James Shockley; nephew, Robert “Chris” Johnson.

Those left to cherish her memory are her mother, Ida R. Shockley; son, Garry R. (Katalia) Taylor; daughter, Sable Robinson; brother, Perry (Debbie) Starkey; sisters, Tammy Lankford, Goivonnie Johnson, Lajuania (Jimmy) Lovelady, Lisa Mobly, Nikki Mobley, Sylvia Greene, all of South Pittsburg, Tenn.; grandchild, Melanie Robison; nephews, Anthony Shed, Hayward, Calif., Marcus Shed, JaJuan Lankford; niece, Delorah Starkey; special friend, Donna Smith and a host of many other friends.

Visitation will be at Tate Funeral Home Saturday, Sept. 30, 2017, from 6 to 8 p.m. CST.

Funeral services will be conducted from the Mt. Bethlehem Baptist Church of South Pittsburg Sunday, Oct. 1, 2017, at 2 p.m. CST.

Interment will be Monday, Oct. 2, 2017, at The Chattanoog­a National Cemetery at 1 p.m. CST.
