Erlanger Health Fair at Chattanooga Market
It’s all about improving your health and living a healthier lifestyle this Sunday, Oct. 8, at Chattanooga Market. Visitors can pick up fresh veggies and have their blood pressure checked during Erlanger Health Fair Day in First Tennessee Pavilion.
More than 20 Erlanger departments and healthcare specialists will be on hand. Free blood pressure checks will be offered during market hours of 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. In addition to obtaining information and counseling on a variety of health issues, marketgoers will be able to make on-site appointments with physicians located throughout the tri-state region.
Although representatives of the Erlanger Health System are on-site throughout the year at Chattanooga Market, Erlanger’s October Health Fair Day offers a broad range of services and opportunities geared toward improving one’s lifestyle and health.
Participating departments include: Children’s Hospital Emergency Department, Children’s Hospital Pediatric Acute Care, Children’s Hospital Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and Children’s Hospital Neurology.
ContinuCare Home Health Services, Erlanger Cancer Institute, Erlanger Cleft and Craniofacial Center, Erlanger Heart & Lung Institute, Erlanger Heart & Lung Institute Center for Wellness North, Erlanger Metabolic & Bariatric Surgery Center and Erlanger Southeast Regional Stroke Center.
Also, UT Erlanger East Brainerd Internal Medicine, UT Erlanger Kidney Transplant Center, UT Erlanger Orthopaedics, UT Erlanger Primary Care East, UT Erlanger Urology and Women’s Services at Erlanger.
As always, there will be more than 100 market vendors offering flowers, produce, meats, cheeses, baked items and original art.
