Four of the losses have come against teams with winning records, including Anderson County and Central, the Region 2-4A leaders that play tonight at Central. Hixson has allowed 40 points or more five times this year. The Wildcats came close to ending their skid last week but fell 28-25 to East Hamilton. This game is likely their last solid chance for a victory, because they have current region leader Central next week and face East Ridge to close the season.
