Colsaerts stays low

ANTALYA, Turkey — Nicolas Colsaerts shot a second straight 7-under 64 for a four-stroke lead after the second round of the Turkish Airlines Open, leaving the big hitter in a strong position to end a five-year wait for a victory on the European Tour.

Eddie Pepperell was Colsaerts’ nearest challenger after back-to-back rounds of 66, and Kiradech Aphibarnrat (67) was five shots off the pace. Matt Fitzpatrick (65), Stephen Gallacher (65), Shane Lowry (66) and Matthew Southgate (65) were each a stroke further back.

Colsaerts had shared the firstround lead with Joost Luiten and Haydn Porteous.
