FIRST QUARTER

GA — Nick Chubb 1-yard run (Rodrigo Blankenshi­p kick), 11:21

Drive: 8 plays, 70 yards, 3:39

Key play: After Georgia’s first two plays netted 3 yards, quarterbac­k Jake Fromm dropped back under pressure and threw to Javon Wims, who made a leaping catch in one-on-one coverage for a 28-yard gain to Auburn’s 39-yard line.

GEORGIA 7, AUBURN 0

AU — Daniel Carlson 54-yard field goal, 8:19

Drive: 8 plays, 41 yards, 2:56

Key play: After Jarrett Stidham had a 13-yard completion to Nate Craig-Myers and a 7-yarder to Ryan Davis, running back Kerryon Johnson took a direct snap and went around right end for 19 yards to Georgia’s 40.

GEORGIA 7, AUBURN 3

AU — Carlson 37-yard field goal, 1:20 Drive: 12 plays, 41 yards, 3:35

Key play: Stidham had a 9-yard keeper and Johnson a 10-yard run, with the latter taking the ball to Georgia’s 14-yard line, before the Bulldogs stiffened and the Tigers went backwards.

Key play: Johnson went around right end for 8 yards to Georgia’s 45-yard line, and the Tigers picked up 15 more when Bulldogs cornerback Malkom Parrish was flagged for hitting Johnson out of bounds.

Key play: Auburn appeared to go three-and-out for a second consecutiv­e possession until Bulldogs outside linebacker D’Andre Walker was flagged for leaping and roughing the kicker during Aidan Marshall’s punt attempt. That resulted in a 15-yard penalty, giving the Tigers new life with first-and-10 at their 46.

Drive: 2 plays, 49 yards, 0:34

Key play: An unsportsma­nlike conduct penalty on Bulldogs running back Sony Michel after an Auburn punt return gave the Tigers even better field position, and the short toss to Davis was the perfect counter to Georgia’s pressure in the pocket.

Key play: Fromm and Wims continued to connect, hooking up for a 38-yard gain to Auburn’s 31-yard line.

Key play: An end-around to receiver Eli Stove picked up 31 yards as the Tigers moved from their 35 to Georgia’s 34.

Key play: Stidham rolled right and threw back across the field to a wideopen Johnson, who had a convoy of blockers that kept him clear until he dove into the end zone.
