Four seasonal concerts are scheduled in the coming week on area campuses.

DALTON STATE SINGERS CONCERT

› When: 7:30 p.m. today, Nov. 30

› Where: Dalton State College, 650 College Drive, Dalton, Ga.

Dalton State Singers perform in Goodroe Auditorium. This free concert is supported, in part, by a grant from Dalton State Foundation.

“MORTALS AND ANGELS”

› When: Dec. 1

› Where: Roland Hayes Concert Hall, Fine Arts Center

The University of Tennessee at Chattanoog­a Women’s Chorale and Men’s Chorus present a free concert themed “Mortals and Angels.” The Men’s Chorus will perform 7:30 p.m., Friday, songs that address the human perspectiv­es of the season, the Women’s Chorale will perform seasonal songs about angels.

CHRISTMAS POPS CONCERT

› When: 8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2

› Where: Southern Adventist University, Iles P.E. Center, 4870 Taylor Circle, Collegedal­e

Southern Adventist University musicians present free Christmas Pops Concert featuring the Wind Symphony, Jazz Ensemble and Ringtones, conducted by Ken Parsons and Laurie Cooper.

Selections include “Fanfare/Hark! The Herald Angels Sing” by Chip Davis, “We Three Kings” by John Wesley Gibson, “Caliente Christmas” by Rick Dior and “Shepard’s Pipe Carol” by John Rutter.

AN EVENING WITH THE VOICES OF LEE

› When: 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 6

› Where: Lee University, Pangle Hall, Cleveland, Tenn.

› Admission: $10, which includes copy of new CD

Lee University will present “An Evening with the Voices of Lee” to celebrate the a cappella ensemble’s new release, “A Cappella Christmas.”

The performanc­e will feature music from Voices’ Christmas CD, such as “Little Drummer Boy,” “Christmas Time is Here” and “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas,” along with a bonus track of “Beautiful Name” from the Voices’ video that went viral in July. The CD is directed by Danny Murray, director of Voices of Lee, and produced by Gordan Mote.

Proceeds from this event will benefit the Empty Stocking Fund of Cleveland, an annual Christmas drive to gather presents for children.
