Claudine Mason Dene Adkins of Chattanooga and Rossville, *a., passed at the age of 3. 6he was recover ing from a stroke at the Collinsville +ealthcare and Rehabil itation at the time of her death on Dec. 2, 201 .

6he was born in Blairsville, *eorgia )eb. 1, 1 2 . 6he was the daughter of Claude and Inda Mason. 6he graduated from Blairs ville +igh 6chool, 9aledic torian of her class. 6he then attended Lincoln Memorial 8niversity and +arrogate, 7ennessee. Mrs. Adkins was married to 7homas E. Adkins Jan. 2, 1 . During WWII, she was employed at the )BI in Washington, D.C., and the B2 Bomber Plant in Marietta, *a. Mrs. Adkins assisted her husband in Medical 6chool by typing the study group notes and later helped in his office practice. 6he was the owner of 7he 6inging Kettle Kitch en 6hop in Rossville for sev eral years. Mrs. Adkins was long standing member of the )irst Cumberland Presbyteri an Child Development Cen ter, Missionary Ridge *arden Club, and the Walker, Ca toosa, Dade County Medical Auxiliary 6ociety.

Mrs. Adkins was long time, faithful member of the )irst Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Chattanooga and a friend to so many people.

Mrs. Adkins was preced ed in death by her husband, 7homas Adkins, )ather, Claud Mason, Mother, Inda Mason +orne, one brother Jim Ma son, two siblings who died in infancy and one son Phil Ad kins.

6he was survived by sons, 7om Myra Adkins of +ixson, 6teve Marcia Adkins of )ort Payne, Ala. grandchildren, 7ommy Kim Adkins of 1ew 2rleans, La., Mary Adkins of Chattanooga, Christy Chris Daniel of +ixson, Jennifer Mike Browning of Madi son, Ala. great grandchildren, +arper and Avery Daniel of +ixson, Cadewyn Browning of Madison, Ala. sisters in law, Lois Mason, Betty Rich ard Arnold, Eula Waddell, Avilene Peterman and several nieces and nephews.

7he family will receive friends December , 201 from 10 a.m. to noon at )irst Cumberland Presbyterian Church followed by funeral services at noon.

)uneral services have been entrusted to Lane )uneral +ome ± 6outh Crest Chapel in Rossville, *eorgia.
