One show, three Elvis artists

Three award-winning Elvis tribute artists will combine for one program that covers The King’s music from the 1950s through ’70s when R&M Tribute Entertainm­ent presents “Elvis’ 83rd Birthday Celebratio­n: Rockin’ Thru the Years.”

The night of Elvis music will be held Saturday, Jan. 6, at 7:30 p.m. in the Gem Theater, 700 Tennessee Ave., in Etowah, Tenn. Presley was born Jan. 8, 1935.

Ronnie Miller of Maryville, Tenn., is an award-winning profession­al Elvis tribute artist, singer and performer who is also a Johnny Cash tribute artist. Miller will sing the gospel music Presley loved.

Stewart Chapman, from Stanardsvi­lle, Va., has performed as Elvis for five years. He won second place in the 2016 Lake George Elvis Festival. He will perform the 1950s music and ’68 comeback era.

Brandon E is from Athens, Tenn. He developed a love for Presley music at an early age, and has performed tributes in many venues across the Southeast.

He placed in the 2017 Smoky Mountain Elvis Contest held in Pigeon Forge, Tenn. He will perform Presley’s 1970s stage concert era.

Tickets are available at L&N Depot Museum, Etowah Community Center or by calling 865-6846082. They will also be sold the day of the show at the ticket office.

Reserved seats are $20; general admission $15. Children ages 6 to 12 are $7; ages 5 and under are free.
