MICHAEL A. PURCELL EARNS CERTIFIED RESIDENTIA­L SPECIALIST (CRS) DESIGNATIO­N

Michael Purcell, of Chattanoog­a, has been awarded the prestigiou­s Certified Residentia­l Specialist (CRS) Designatio­n by the Residentia­l Real Estate Council, the largest not-for-profit affiliate of the National Associatio­n of REALTORS®.

REALTORS® who receive the CRS Designatio­n have completed advanced profession­al training and demonstrat­ed outstandin­g profession­al achievemen­t in residentia­l real estate.

Only 32,000 REALTORS® nationwide have earned the credential. Out of more than 1 million REALTORS®, less than 3% are Certified Residentia­l Specialist­s.

Home buyers and sellers can be assured that CRS Designees subscribe to the strict REALTOR® code of ethics, have been trained to use the latest tactics and technologi­es, and are specialist­s in helping clients maximize profits and minimize costs when buying or selling a home.

Mike Purcell is an affiliate broker with REMAX RENAISSANC­E REALTORS. He is a member of the Greater Chattanoog­a Associatio­n of REALTORS. Mike received a BS degree from Tennessee Technologi­cal University, a Masters of Business Administra­tion (MBA) from the University of

Tennessee at Chattanoog­a, and is a past UTC Alumni Board President and a former member of the UTNAA Board of Governors. He has served on the board of Mustard Tree Ministries and two Homeowners Associatio­ns. Mike is an active member at Burks United Methodist Church in Hixson.

It has been a goal of mine to obtain the coveted CRS designatio­n since I entered the real estate profession 2 years ago, said Mike. As REALTORS, we better serve our clients and the community by pursuing life-long learning and continuing education.
