Joseph Quentin Eller, 90, of Collegedal­e, Tenn., passed away on Friday, Feb. 2, 2018.

Quentin was born on Nov. 11, 1927, in Rockwell, N.C., to the late Calvin and Josie Eller. He moved to Collegedal­e, Tenn., in 1946. He graduated from Collegedal­e Academy and attended Southern Missionary College. He was a commercial builder and worked for T.U. Parks Constructi­on, Payne and Harris Constructi­on, and Rufus and Sanders Whaley Constructi­on. The last 20 years of his working career were at Southern Adventist University.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Barbara Allen Jacobs Eller, and brother, Kermit Duane Eller.

He is survived by his four children, Barbara Aileen Eller, Ann Eller Arquitt, Edward (Tracy) Eller, Jimmy (Luann) Eller; sisters, Peggy Daniel, Charlotte (Dan) Tullock, Venita Key, Joan Fox; grandchild­ren, Tyler (Christine) Eller, Trevor Eller, Mark Arquitt, Alex Arquitt, Jeffrey Arquitt, Megan (Lincoln) Duff, and Zachary Eller.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 4, 2018, in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Doug Jacobs officiatin­g. Burial will follow at Collegedal­e Memorial Park.
