Clarence Neal Sr.

WASHBURN — Neal Sr., Clarence Edward, 78, formerly of Chattanooga, Tenn. passed away Friday, Feb. 2, 2018.

He was a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was a loving devoted Father, Uncle, and Husband. He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Hixson.

He is survived by his wife, Henrietta Neal; son, Clarence E. Neal Jr (Eddie) and his wife Rhonda; daughter, Jennifer Neal Lewis and her husband Channey; his first Granddaughter, Megan Nicole Henderson of Raeford, N.C.; Grandsons, Clarence E. Neal III (Rance) and Raymond L. Neal (R.L.); and Granddaughter, Frances Sue Lewis (Squirt to her Pappa); Sisters, Frances Neal Dunn of Mascot and Emaline Neal of Knoxville; and Several Nieces and Nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Sue Neal; Father, Howard Neal; Mother, Ruth Beal Neal; Brothers, William Neal, Samual Neal, Bruce Neal, Frank Neal, Vernon Neal, and Dan Neal.

Graveside Services will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2018 at 1 p.m. at Trentville Cemetery in Knoxville, Tenn. with Rev. Danny Neal officiating. Military honors provided by East Tennessee State Veterans Honor Guard.
