ROSSVILLE — Harry “Bud” Nave, 92, passed away on Friday, Feb. 2, 2018, with his family by his side.

Mr. Nave was born in Stevenson, Alabama on Oct. 10, 1925, to the late Otis and Ruth Cloud Nave and was a member of McFarland United Methodist Church.

He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps as the rank of Staff Sergeant. He was in active duty in Okinawa during WWII and served in the reserves during the Korean War.

Bud worked for and later became co-owner of Hubbuch Glass Company in Chattanoog­a. He spent over 40 years in the glass business as a Glazier, superinten­dent and owner.

Bud loved golfing and proudly scored 2 hole in ones at the 12 th hole at Battlefiel­d Golf Club. He was a huge Tennessee Vols and Saint Louis Cardinals fan. He gave generously to his church and various charitable organizati­ons.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Nave; brothers, George, Harold, Kenneth, and Doyle Nave; sister, Marlene Logan,; Brothers in law; and Sisters in law; and several nieces and nephews.

He leaves to cherish his memory; daughters, Diane (Randy) Brittain and Deborah (Trip) Finney; son, David (Rhonda) Nave; grandchild­ren, Aaron (Molly) Brittain, Laura Finney, Nick (Lupita) Finney, and Katie Brittain; great-grandchild­ren, Amos Brittain, Ellie Brittain and Isabella Finney; brother, Lawrence (Carla) Nave; sisters, Myrt Cooley and Anna Ruth (Ozzie) Hughes, and other dear family members. Several nieces, nephews. Many will mourn his passing and miss his presence.

Funeral services will be held 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at McFarland United Methodist Church with Rev. Ginger Isom officiatin­g. Burial will follow in the Chattanoog­a National Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
