Former Siskin Children’s Institute CEO launches Amp Up Nonprofit Consulting

-

John Farrimond, the former CEO of Siskin Children’s Institute, announces the launch of Amp Up Nonprofit Consulting. Headquartered in Chattanooga, the firm also directly serves Atlanta, Nashville, Birmingham, Knoxville and Huntsville and through technology, the entire United States.

The Amp Up philosophy of nonprofit business effectiveness and efficiency rests upon unfortunate and accelerating macroeconomic factors: fewer donors, declining giving, generational change, a federal government with more debt than the entire gross domestic product and tax reform that disincentivizes charitable giving. Amp Up helps nonprofits become the preferred destination for charitable giving. Additionally, the firm will assist foundations and high-net worth individuals target and leverage their giving. In doing so, Amp Up will create positive change for society.

“There is a significant and sustained funding deterioration, a slow-motion squeeze on nonprofit organizations across the sector. Executives and boards realize that the status-quo simply will not hold. We believe it is absolutely imperative that nonprofits improve their businesses and position themselves at attract charitable donations as much as they hustle for them,” said owner John Farrimond.

Amp Up and its consulting affiliates work closely with nonprofits to address needs in virtually any functional area as well as strategy, data acquisition and analysis, and mergers. In support of foundations and philanthropists, the firm performs organizational evaluations, grant audits, social investment advisory services, and social impact research.
