› Wednesday, March 14: Paper Piecing with David Gilliland,

9 a.m.-4 p.m.

Learn the basics of paper piecing on a 40- by 40-inch design, “Star Voyage.” $25 members, $35 nonmembers, plus pattern and materials.

› Friday, March 16: Meet and greet with Tone Haugen-Cogburn, 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

The renowned fiber artist, the museum’s Artist of the Month, will be on-site.

› Saturday, March 17: Beginning Quilting: Table Toppers with Beth Spencer, 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

This beginning quilt class will teach how to make a nine-block table topper. Fabric and sewing machines will be provided. The class is designed for “absolute beginners” from ages 10 through adults. $5 members, $10 nonmembers.

› Tuesday, March 20: Cutting Techniques with Susan Hyder, 6-8 p.m.

Learn how to up your quilting game with new cutting techniques. $5 members, $10 nonmembers.

› Thursday, March 22: Sewing Service Day with Quilts of Valor, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

Quilts of Valor is a nonprofit foundation with the goal of honoring wounded veterans with handmade quilts. Anyone, sewing or not, is encouraged to volunteer any time they have during the day, from 15 minutes to five hours. Bring a sewing machine, if you have one, and neutral thread. Volunteers may enter the quilt show for free on this day.

› Saturday, March 24: ‘Stitches in Time’ Demo Day, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. The Cherokee Blossom Quilt Guild and other local quilters will demonstrat­e various quilting and sewing techniques.
