Roy Daniels
Roy Daniels, 74, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2018. He was retired from the Chattanooga Glass Company.
Roy, also known as “Tater”, was an avid fisherman, and he and his friend Ellis “Red” Brockman loved to fish. He was also a lover of nature, and especially loved his water garden and his roses. Roy never met a stranger and made everyone he met feel special.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Bertha Lowe Daniels; father, J.C. Daniels; brother, Don Daniels; uncle, Lon Lowe and grandfather, George Lowe.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 55 years, Linda; daughters, Kim Sewell and Kelly Daniels; brothers, Danny (Linda) Daniels and Chuck (Cathy) Daniels; sister, Jeanette (Bobby) Roberts; grandson, Nicholas (Bethany) Sewell; two great-grandchildren Eli and Maddie; son in law, Rick Sewell; special friend, Anthony Correll; several nieces and nephews and many friends.
The family would also like to give special thanks to Home Heathcare of East TN and Hospice, especially Teresa Shoemaker, Brett Hiple; hospice nurse, Deborah Reynolds and his two CNA’s Carla and Donald (Peewee).
The family will have visitation on March 17, 2018, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Turner Funeral Home.
