Carol Decker Kellogg, 67, of Soddy Daisy, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, Mar. 17, 2018.

Carol was born in Chattanoog­a to the late Norman and Frances Decker. She was a 1968 graduate of East Ridge High School and attended the University of Chattanoog­a. Carol retired from Blue Cross Blue Shield with over 35 years of service. She was a longtime member of the River City Corvette Club. Carol enjoyed for years line dancing at the Soddy Daisy Senior Center and was so proud that she got to attend the Kentucky Derby for 25 years in a row, with her friends and family.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Mobley.

Carol is survived by her husband of 25 years, Ron Kellogg; children, Becky (Marty) Holbert and Stephen Kellogg; grandson, Chris (Heather) Snyder; 3 great grandchild­ren; brother, Bob (Barbara) Duke.

The family will receive friends from 12 p.m. (noon) to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Mar. 20, at the North Chapel of Chattanoog­a Funeral Home.

Graveside services for Carol will follow at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday at Chattanoog­a National Cemetery.
