Michaelis joins Lee volleyball staff

- STAFF REPORTS

Lee University volleyball coach Andrea Hudson announced Wednesday the hiring of former Fresno State All-American Kristen Michaelis as assistant coach. A former head coach at Saint Claire Community College in Michigan, she has been a UTC assistant the past two years. She was a libero on the United States team that earned a bronze medal in the 2007 Pan American Games. “Kristen was already a resident of Cleveland but working with the UTC program,” Hudson said in a release, noting a quick need to fill the position. “To find someone of her talent level and also a right fit for the mission of Lee University does not happen accidentally. We truly feel God had a hand in this.”
