› Bringing Anya Home: Concert benefiting Alan and Nicole Parker, who are adopting an orphan girl from Ukraine, is 7 p.m. today at Collegedal­e Community Church, 9305 Four Corners Place. › U-Church: Passion, a group rooted in the Passion movement challengin­g college students to “live for what matters most,” will perform at 8 p.m. Friday in Lee University’s U-Church concert series. › Bob Bennett: The singer, songwriter and master guitarist, an influentia­l figure in the early days of contempora­ry Christian music, will present an acoustic concert at 6 p.m. April 7 in the Student Worship Center at Abba’s House, 5208 Hixson Pike. Mark Kelly Hall and Dana Harding also will perform. Bennett’s 1982 album, “Matters of the Heart,” was chosen Album of the Year by CCM Magazine and ranks among the Top 20 CCM albums of all time. › Don Beebe: Motivation­al speaker, author and former NFL player Don Beebe will be the chapel speaker at 10:40 a.m. Tuesday in Lee University’s Conn Center in Cleveland, Tenn. Beebe, whose Green Bay Packers won Super Bowl XXXI, was known in the NFL for his strong work ethic and character. He is the co-author of “Six Rings From Nowhere,” recounting his life and Christian faith. Admission is free; seating is limited. › Plant giveaway:

Daisy United Methodist Church, 9508 Old Dayton Pike in Soddy-Daisy, plans its seventh annual Plant Giveaway, a community outreach project, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. April 7. The variety includes flowers, herbs, ornamental­s, a few vegetables and some flower seeds. The first three plants are free, and five additional plants may be selected for $2 per plant.
