Based on early response, the Tri-State Christians United for Israel planning team has scheduled two free luncheons for area pastors and church leaders: noon-1 p.m. Wednesday at Dalton Golf and Country Club and noon-1 p.m. Friday at Patriot Hall in Ringgold, Ga. Commitment: The Spiritual Legacy of Pat Summitt:

This Christian education class will be led by the Rev. Joel Huffstetle­r 9:30-10:30 a.m. May 6, 13 and 20 in the Parish Hall of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 320 Broad St. NW in Cleveland, Tenn. Summitt, the legendary head basketball coach of the University of Tennessee Lady Vols from 1974 to 2012, died in 2016 at age 64 after being diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer’s disease. 423-476-5541.
