Norma Richmond

Norma Richmond, 87, of Ooltewah, passed away Sunday, April 15, 2018.

She was born and raised in Aurora Ill. While raising two sons with her husband, she worked at Toledo Scale. They retired to Florida for many years before moving to Tennessee. She was a loving and devoted wife to Gerald (Gerry) for 67 years. Also, she was a loving mother to her two sons and daughter in-laws, also a super special grandmother/ great grandmother. She always remembered her family’s birthdays with a call and their favorite cookies.

Surviving are her brother, Elmer F. (Bud) Hutchinson, of Illinois; son, Dale (Cyndie) Richmond, of Fairport Harbor, Ohio; daughter-in-law, Julie Richmond, of Ooltewah, Tenn.; grandchildren, Johnathan Richmond, Jerry Richmond, Elizabeth Richmond, Jeffery (Phaedra) Richmond Jr., Michael (Julie) Richmond; great-grandchildren, Raelyn, Haley, Leo, Lyla, Levi, and Elijah.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald L. Richmond; her parents, Elmer and Mable Ruth Hutchinson, of Illinois; sister, Ruth A. (Hutchinson) Johnson, of Illinois and son, Jeffrey Lee Richmond Sr.

All services will be private. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Erlanger Hospital of Chattanooga for the wonderful care they provided.
