Free tickets available for downtown living tour
Ride a free trolley to visit new condos and apartments on June 3
The Explore Downtown Living Tour of 14 downtown apartment and condo developments will be Sunday, June 3, from 1-4 p.m.
Free and open to the public, check-in will be at Miller Plaza, 850 Market St., and pre-registration is encouraged for the program sponsored by the River City Co.
Gray Line Trolleys, which offers the Chattanooga Hop Trolley Tour, will provide free trolley service along the tour loop for easy access to the developments.
“With over $1 billion of private investment that’s occurred in downtown Chattanooga since 2015 and a majority of that development work going towards housing, we know there are a lot of people who want to explore and eventually live in these new or renovated downtown spaces,” said Kim White, the River City Co.’s chief executive.
This new wave of private investment in downtown includes 3,048 apartment units; 1,968 student beds; 1,075 hotel rooms; 272 condos and townhomes; and 993,100 square feet of commercial space. according to River City.
