› Concert canceled:

Tonight’s concert by jazz pianist/composer Donald Brown at Brainerd Presbyteri­an Church has been canceled. Event promoter Ken Dryden says Brown has suffered a wrist injury and was told by his doctors not to play piano for three months.

› Organ dedication:

Organist Justin Maxey of Atlanta performs on the totally rebuilt 1967 Moeller Artiste organ in a concert at 3 p.m. Sunday at First Presbyteri­an Church, 101 S. Selvidge St. in Dalton, Ga. He will play a variety of compositio­ns suited for the organ and the church’s theater-style sanctuary, as well as congregati­onal hymns. Free admission. 706-278-8161.

› Big Daddy Weave:

› Russian ensemble:

› Jericho Brass Band:

› Gordon Mote: The gospel performer, blind since birth and playing piano since age 3, will be in concert at 10:45 a.m. May 20 at Hickory Valley Baptist Church, 2320 Hickory Valley Road. He played for the Gaither Vocal Band for six and a half years, is a studio musician in Nashville, has been honored three times by the Academy of Country Music and earned a Grammy nomination for his latest album, “Hymns and Songs of Inspiratio­n.”

› Commitment: The Spiritual Legacy of Pat Summitt: This Christian education class will be led by the Rev. Joel Huffstetle­r 9:30-10:30 a.m. the next three Sundays (May 6, 13 and 20) in the Parish Hall of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 320 Broad St. NW in Cleveland, Tenn. Summitt, the legendary head basketball coach of the University of Tennessee Lady Vols from 1974 to 2012, died in 2016 at age 64 after being diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer’s disease. 423-476-5541.
