Citizen craftsman
Jordan Sharp works on his wallet design Wednesday during the Magic Markers 2018 program at the Mark Making studio. According to a statement from Mark Making Executive Director Frances McDonald, Magic Markers 2018 is a work-readiness program focusing on “citizenship, written word, design and entrepreneurship.” The 32 teens participating in the program are designing, marketing and distributing wallets based on their views of citizenship. The wallets will be available for purchase July 20 at the Mark Making studio, at 2510 N. Chamberlain Ave.
