Tax-free weekend in Tennessee for everyone

- Contact Ellen Phillips at consumer watch@times freepress.com

Today is the final day of Tennessee’s Tax-Free Holiday, and I hope readers, as savvy consumers, have taken advantage of the last two days to save tons of money.

Even if no schoolage children reside in our households, we still can save a mint in our checkbooks or on credit cards with this weekend’s prices, less our almost-10 percent sales taxes on many purchases.

Here is an extensive list of Tennessee items to pop in your shopping buggy if you’ve not done so already.
