Shawn Mullins, Wild Feathers headlining Dalton music festival

“Everything’s going to be all right” Saturday, Aug. 25, when singer Shawn Mullins plays the Friendship Music Festival in Dalton, Georgia.

The singer, still associated with those lyrics from his 1998 No. 1 single “Lullaby,” is a co-headliner of the festival along with country music band Wild Feathers. The music festival will be held on the green in downtown Dalton from 2 to 11 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 25. It benefits Friendship House child care program in Dalton.

Along with Mullins and Wild Feathers, performers will include Connector 3, Noah Smith and the Sneary Family Band.

Although Wild Feathers may seem like a new group to country fans since their breakout hit “Big Sky” earlier this spring, the band has actually been together since 2010. Their new album, “Greetings from the Neon Frontier,” was released the end of June.

Wild Feathers will tour with Kip Moore during September before joining The Brothers Osborne tour in mid-October.
