FIRST QUARTER

GA — Juwan Taylor 1-yard intercepti­on return (Rodrigo Blankenshi­p kick), 14:13 Key play: Two plays after being flagged for interferen­ce on Deebo Samuel, Georgia cornerback Deandre Baker hauled in a ball that had been tipped by Gamecocks running back Rico Dowdle and raced untouched down the right sideline. Baker dropped the ball before crossing the goal line, but Taylor recognized the gaffe and took the ball into the end zone for the score. GEORGIA 7, SOUTH CAROLINA 0

GA — D’Andre Swift 17-yard run (Blankenshi­p kick), 11:50 Drive: 4 plays, 76 yards, 1:15 Key play: Mecole Hardman took a lateral from Jake Fromm and raced 30 yards down the right sideline to South Carolina’s 32-yard line. A late hit by linebacker T.J. Brunson resulted in another 15 yards, giving Georgia a first-and-10 at the 17, setting up Swift’s TD run.
