Morris to head operations at HHM CPA firm
HHM CPAs, a full-service CPA and consulting firm with locations in Chattanooga and Memphis, has appointed Pam Morris, CPA, CGMA, CFE, as chief operating officer (COO), a new position within the firm.
Morris began her career at HHM in 2013 as partner and served in her role until 2015 when she co-founded Freight Depot Accounting (FDA), an affiliate company of HHM. FDA launched in 2015 yo provide startups, small to medium-size businesses, and nonprofits with professional accounting services.
As HHM’s COO, Morris will oversee daily operations and administrative processes of all departments including recruiting and service organization.
“When I decided to fill the COO position, I realized the person who knew our firm well and had the qualifications we needed was already in the building,” said Donnie Hutcherson, HHM managing partner. “Pam has a long, successful history here at HHM and truly shares our passion for service excellence.”
Morris has held many high-level management positions during her 30-year tax and accounting career. She has served as a partner at a regional accounting firm, where she was responsible for tax planning and consulting for multi-entity companies. She has also owned several small businesses and served as regional controller for a multi-national gas company.
