WEEKLY FOOD SPECIALS
According to Heather Jennings, FEED Co. Table & Tavern’s general manager, “Every night should be birds and bubbly night.”
Every Wednesday from 4 p.m. to close, the hip Southside spot celebrates “Ladies’ Night” with deals on fried chicken small plates paired with glasses of sparkling wine. The recipes rotate; one week may feature fried chicken sliders, the next may feature spicy fried chicken breasts.
Alas, not every night can plate deals that hot. Still, FEED Co. boasts a full calendar. Here is a look at all of its delicious weekly events.
Monday, all day, is “industry night,” celebrating those who work in the restaurant business. Each week FEED offers a burger paired with a different select pint of beer for $9.
Tuesday, from 8 p.m. to close, is trivia, featuring the restaurant’s taco special: three tacos for $9, with recipes rotating weekly.
Wednesday, of course, is “Ladies’ Night,” though the deal, which offers a fried chicken small plate and a glass of bubbly for $10, is available to everyone.
Live music begins on Thursday, with a bluegrass set from 7:30-9:30 p.m. Friday features acoustic music from 9:30-11:30 p.m. And for Sunday brunch, FEED Co. hosts local musician Danimal Pinson from 12:30-5 p.m.
But amid its ever-rotating events, FEED Co., at its core, is consistent.
“I want people to know that we are a tavern, and we show all the games,” said Heather.
From college football to the NFL to soccer — in fact, said Heather, “We’re home of the Liverpool Soccer Club. Whenever they have games we have about 30 people show up from the local chapter. It’s great!”
