Lee University Marks Centennial
Homecoming celebration begins tonight
Thousands of Lee University students, alumni, faculty and staff are expected on campus for this weekend’s homecoming and Centennial Celebration. A wide range of events have been scheduled to celebrate and commemorate the Cleveland, Tennessee, school’s history and legacy. “In a manner of speaking, we’ve waited 100 years for this weekend,” said Jerome Hammond, vice president for university relations. “If alumni and friends have needed an excuse to get back to campus, this is a great one.”
Child care will be available for events on Friday evening and throughout the day Saturday for a one-time, $20 fee per family.
