Billy Ray “Bill” Myers, 76, of Soddy-Daisy, passed away unexpected­ly Nov. 5, 2018. Bill retired from Norfolk Southern after thirty five years of service. He was a racing fan and especially loved Nascar Racing. He graduated from Grundy County High School in 1959 and then went to business school in Nashville.

He was preceded in death by a son, Jim Myers; granddaugh­ter, Alissa Myers; his parents, Herschel and Madie Myers and two brothers, Charlie and Dave Myers.

Bill is survived by his wife, Etta Worley Myers; children, Tammi (Tim) Stubble- field, Chubby (Carole) Smith; grandchild­ren, Melissa, Bill, Jonathon and Josh Myers, Brandi (Beau) Arnold, Erin Stubblefie­ld, Cara (Chad) Roberson, Candace (Cody) Harris; great-grandchild­ren, Jaxon and Javhonie Myers, Charlie and Carrigan Roberson, Emma Stubblefie­ld, Hannah Glassmire and Parker, Ryan, Mathew and Lucas Cramer; his brother, Bob Myers; nieces and nephews, Tina Arbuckle, Brian Myers, Steve Myers, Brent Myers, Mark Myers and Robert Myers; and a good friend, Johnny Harrison.

His family requests memorial donations to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at www.stjude.org

Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. Friday.

Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Ronnie Smith and Rev. Clayton Jones officiatin­g. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearer­s will be Jonathon, Bill, Josh, Brian, Brent and Mark Myers.
