WHITWELL — Johnnie Mae Holloway, 85, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2018. She was a member of Kimball Church of Christ and retired from Marion County Board of Education.

Ms. Holloway was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence K. Holloway; mother, Stella Mae Terry; father, John Sutton Hamrick, brother, Herman Hamrick; sister, Vera Mae Anderson; grandson, Joey Davis; great-great grandson, Sawyer A. Banks; daughter-in-law, Judy D. Holloway.

Those left to cherish her memories are her children, Larry (Debbie) Holloway, of Ringgold, Donald E. Holloway, of Whitwell, Vickie (Willard) Hamilton, of Jasper, Shirley F. Davis, of Dunlap, Kathy (Bobby) Quarles, of Whitwell; sister, Katherine O. Rini, of Ohio; brothers, Ken Terry, Dan Terry, both of Whitwell; grandchild­ren, Kelly Holloway, Jennifer Baxter, Tommy Green, Angelia Tripp, Nathan Hamilton, Michelle Amburn, Natalie Boston, James Quarles, Johnny Quarles and Kimberly Quarles; 21 great-grandchild­ren and 10 great-great-grandchild­ren; nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, 2018, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 11, 2018.

Funeral Service 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 11, 2018, in the funeral home chapel with Minister Billy Watkins officiatin­g. Interment to follow at Smith’s Cemetery.
