Breaking down the ACC
1. Clemson (11-0):
Tigers need to take care of business vs. in-state rival South Carolina.
2. Pittsburgh (7-4):
Last year when Panthers beat Miami it qualified as an upset. This time, roles are reversed.
3. Boston College (7-4):
Eagles should have found way to beat Seminoles, now must avoid three-game skid.
4. Syracuse (8-3):
Orange got outhit at Yankee Stadium. Good thing matchup with Boston College isn’t at Fenway Park.
5. N.C. State (7-3):
Wolfpack made Louisville’s life even more miserable, and that was tough to do.
6. Virginia (7-4):
Cavaliers didn’t do their part last week, but now try to keep Hokies out of a bowl.
7. Duke (7-4):
Blue Devils gave Clemson a tussle for a half, now must regroup.
8. Georgia Tech (7-4):
Yellow Jackets have been strong at times recently, but the Georgia Bulldogs are a different animal.
9. Miami (6-5):
Hurricanes can put a dent on Pittsburgh just as Panthers did last year prior to Miami’s first ACC title game.
10. Virginia Tech (4-6):
Hokies must beat Virginia in order to have another game vs. Marshall added for Dec. 1.
11. Florida State (5-6):
Seminoles keep bowl hopes alive, but it figures to be tougher against Gators.
12. Wake Forest (5-6):
Demon Deacons limp toward Duke with last chance to become bowl eligible.
13. North Carolina (2-8):
Tar Heels have lost last two meetings with N.C. State, so this will be a challenge.
14. Louisville (2-9):
It’s the week to be thankful because the Cardinals will end the season. But first there’s a game vs. Kentucky.
