Three more immediately eligible transfers joined the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga football team with the start of practice just two days away.

First-year head coach Rusty Wright welcomes 1,000-yard running back Elijah Ibitokun-Hanks from Albany, offensive lineman Colin Truett from Cincinnati and receiver Reginald Henderson from Middle Tennessee State to the Mocs.

“All three of these guys have a chance to help us this year,” Wright said in a UTC release. “They will definitely provide us some depth at needed positions and have the opportunity to push our returning guys for some time on the field.”

Ibitokun-Hanks is a graduate transfer with one season of eligibility remaining. He was a three-year starter at Albany, earning STATS FCS third-team All-America honors in 2016, when he was fourth in the Football Championship Subdivision and led the Colonial Athletic Conference with 1,401 rushing yards. An injury limited him to one game in 2017, but the Newark, New Jersey, native ran for 767 yards and four touchdowns last season.

Henderson is a junior from Belle Glade, Florida, who played in six games last season for the Blue Raiders. He played in 11 over the last two seasons, mostly on special teams. Henderson and Cincinnati transfer Tyrin Summers both attended Clewiston (Florida) High School.

The 6-foot-3, 270-pound Truett spent last season at Cincinnati. He was a second-team 2017 Journal-News all-area selection as a senior at Lebanon (Ohio) High School.
